My name is Lucy Bone. I am orginally from Columbus, GA, but I currently reside in Athens, GA. I recently recieved my degree in Fine Art Photography at The Univeristy of Georgia, through the Lamar Dodd School of Art.

The work I produce is largely driven by my connections and interest in art being available to the public, majorly through museums. I spend a large amount of my time working for, or wandering around museums and galleries. My work is highly driven by current and past photography and how it relates to the cannon of contemporary art. A personal mission of mine is to ensure that the public, especially an audience in the South, has acces to contemporary art.

My love for photography comes from the hands on feeling of shooting and developing film. I believe no person is too young or old to view themselves as a creative person, and that the toughest exteriors can be broken with just the right viral dog video. If you have any questions about my work, please do not hesitate to contact me!
